Lead Welfare Officer
Advise and support the Committee to implement welfare policies and procedures and to support the club to adhere to codes of conduct and good practice in accordance with UKA/EA and the Club Constitution.
Liaise with external agencies where concerns have arisen over the welfare of members.
Respond to any suspected breaches of the Welfare Policies and Procedures.
Ensure that all coaches/officials/volunteers have completed CRB and Independent Safeguarding Authority checks as required and assist in this process as appropriate.
Act as CR's DBS identity validation official (note: the applicant must have an up to date DBS check).
Ensure that the interests of, and impacts upon individuals, groups and membership as a whole are considered in discussions and decisions made by the Committee.
Manage the club’s grievance and disciplinary process
