Before You Run
There will be a few announcements before the run leaders all stand up to say where they are running to, at what pace, and where to meet outside.
If this is your first run with us maybe choose our ‘ECO’ group, this is for those wanting to run/walk or go slower than other groups
Let the run leader know if this is your first time as they may want to give you extra info about the route, how often you’ll pause for a breather, etc. Everyone will introduce themselves, they’ll be a quick safety briefing, and then you’ll be off.
On the Run
Your safety is your responsibility.
If you can’t keep up or are struggling let the run leader know and they will slow down or stop for a breather.
Never leave the group without talking to the run leader first. For more safety info and advice please read our disclaimer.
After The Run
Back at the Bowling Green you’ll do some warm down stretches with your group in the carpark.
Inside you’ll find loads of people buying drinks, eating the free sandwiches and crisps, and enjoying the charity cake sale.
But most importanly you’ll find people who chat with, discuss running stuff, swap stories and advice, and maybe become life long friends.
