Wednesday Hill Training

Meet 6.30pm at Kenworthy Woods

Summer: Meet at the first hill. (From the car park at Chorlton Water Park (bottom of Maitland Avenue, Chorlton, M21 7WH), walk left around the water park, past the children’s playground then across the iron bridge.
Turn right at the first gate and follow the path along the Mersey to the bottom of the hill.)

Winter: Sai Spice, Mauldeth Road West, Chorlton M21 7SP.

Hill Training is suitable for all speeds and fitness levels though this is a members-only session. If you would like to join us for a run please come to our Sunday Morning Run.

Hill reps are not about speed or distance on the night. They develop specific strength, and conditioning, that will directly transfer across to improved running performance. It combines the benefits of interval training (improved efficiency, aerobic capacity, cadence and stride length) with very specific strength training.

There is plenty of parking available at Chorlton Water Park. The postcode is M21 7WH.
